<Poem>
畏景又加旱
火雲殊未收
籬暄饑有雀
池涸渴無鷗
岸幘頭仍痛
褰裳汗亦流
若為當此日
遷客向炎州
<End Poem>
<Translation>
To this fearsome scene
Add drought and fiery clouds
Not yet under control.
Even the bamboo fence
Is too hot to touch.
There's a starving sparrow;
The pond is dried up,
The gulls have gone.
Though I remove my cap,
My head still aches.
Sweat keeps flowing off me
Even when I lift my dress.
And on this very day
My friends are exiled
To regions of fiery heat!
